We were the first ones in the cafe after picking up a passenger at the airport. Our server was a lovely cheery woman who immediately brought us menus and our coffee and cocoa. We ordered 5wo different Egg Bennies and both were delicious…the lobster and salmon one and the Blackstone with crispy bacon…so many hash browns , that I brought leftovers home. The food was hot and delicious and arrived quickly. This restaurant never disappoints! April 26 th 2025 - A large group of 14 visited Mary’s for lunch after the Art Show in Sydney. Luckily they have a nice sunroom area suited for larger groups. Our server was right there to ask what we wanted for drinks and we already had waters at our table. She then took our orders when we were ready and then we did have quite a long wait of about an hour as the restaurant was packed with people and we were probably the last to be filled due to the size of our group. Next time I’d recommend they bring the food as they made it. The food did all come at once except for two which came in about ten minutes. The good was all delicious and with that many people we could see that all the portions were generous and everyone seemed happy with their selection. I ordered a seafood broil of lobster and shrimp that came on top of a toasty French bread and it was all topped with melted cheese. My friend had the similar filling in two crepes with no cheese as she is allergic to it. All in all I’d recommend this nest aviation themed restaurant tucked in the trees. After that cross the street ( where there is additional parking ) and take in the Aviation Museum a hundred or so meters up a little road. Check it out for a nice excursion.

We went to this place on the way to Butchart Gardens after seeing the Google reviews for coffee. It is an old cafe that opens at 8am and is located in a quiet rural area. We ordered some coffee and made a double-double, and then had a cup of black coffee with friends

Visiting from Saskatoon, beautifully quaint and rustic. Love the planes theme. I was very fortunate to have a table reserved the night there was live music. It was a local roots band, and they were entertaining. I will, absolutely stop in again when I'm back!!

A popular spot with the locals, so arrive with some time to spend, in our case over lunch. The crab cakes were very good as was the Rueben sandwich. Look forward to coming back to try some of the specials.

Great food, ample portions. We were sat quickly and ordered almost immediately. The coffee kept coming steadily and servers are all working together cooperatively to ensure maximum guest experience. Lots of seating, reasonably priced. About 18 dollars a meal.

We had a great breakfast at this local favourite nestled into an unsuspecting neighborhood. I had the scramble. Tasty and large portions. Great patio. Will return.
